Drug and Alcohol Addiction Interventions

My name is  Catherine MacDonald and I am the Canadian Representative for Crossroads Treatment Centre in Antigua.

 As a certified ARISE Addiction Interventionist I have a wealth of knowledge and life experience that allows me to help families and loved ones transition from a life of suffering from addictions to a life of sobriety and wellness.

Following the ARISE method for interventions and Continuing Care, my strategy for the Intervention is focused on both the addicted person, as well as the entire family.  This method is a best practice and evidence based approach to an intervention that is transparent and non-confrontational. Through tailored support and education, participants will gain knowledge and understanding about the process of both addiction and recovery. 

The approach and technique employed is geared towards a person suffering with addiction to be part of the solution, therefore empowering them to make the decision to begin the process of recovery.
